Ah...Valentine's day!...in my family Valentines day is a "big" day, we love to celebrate this gorgeous day. With our hectic life style is just nice to take a break and celebrate this festival of love with family and friends. 

 On this special day, as usual, we start in the brunch time or after school, we will have romantic family lunch with our kids to celebrate this 'love' day together. I arranged a beautiful table setting for us, completed with flowers arrangement cupcakes and Valentine's day decoration. My kids love our brunch, they always waiting with anticipation, and over the years it becomes our family tradition.

We decorated our table with all pink and red. For the flower vase we use small red lantern candle holder that we bought from Vons store. The "love" box I bought it from Ross "dress for less" department store, originally I was planning to use the box for my nail polish storage but I thought it can be used for double duty as well. My favorite purchased are the red cake stand, I think they're just bold and beautiful. And if you love to host parties in your home I think cake stand is essential, whether or not is casual party these cake stand can be useful addition for the party decor. White porcelain cake stand always have been the most favorite but 

 red color can be versatile too, specially red color are signature for a lot of occasions here in USA, such as Christmas, Valentine, fourth of July, you can also use it for mother's day and birthday parties. 

I managed to made us Red Velvet Pancakes, Cheese Blintzes and Strawberry cake ball covered with Chocolate (recipes will follow) and the rest of the sweet we bought it from bakery. The kid got so much fun they can't wait for this Valentine's day weekend, we are going to have another Valentine's day brunch and in the evening my husband and I will have a special candlelight dinner date at one of our favorite restaurant, hmmm...can't wait! (me and my smiley face...)

To celebrate her cousin birthday, my daughter asked me if I can arrange beautiful centerpieces for her. She would like to celebrated with her cousin by giving her a garden party with decor full of delicious desserts.  

We bought a bouquet from Von's groceries store and I arranged colorful roses, some baby breath and green from our backyard on the beautiful vintage like a wood basket. My daughter like the design very much. 

We got all the decor like plates, spoon, blue dragonfly lantern, Wooden basket with chicks painted (Debby Lily) for centerpieces are from Von's groceries store and the rest of it from Michael's Craft Stores. We had to color the fruit wooden basket from Michael's with Martha Stewart Craft Pain in Vintage Purple Color.
