"Tsubaki Beauty Oil hydrates and replenishes, leaving skin smoother, softer, and more supple. An excellent source of fatty and omega 3 acids, this soothing oil prevents premature signs of aging by defending the skin against free radical damage. Wakame (Japanese sea kelp) repairs past damage by replenishing protein and helps support natural collagen production. Rice bran oil restores the look of skin for a glowing, gorgeous complexion with its lightweight, non-greasy texture."-Source
Usually when it comes to beauty oil I become skeptical, some how oil doesn't work good on me, it breaks out my skin and some just sit on my skin and it does not well absorb, leaving my skin feeling oily and greasy all day or sometimes even made my skin more dried out ( isn't that ironic how Oil can make you skin dry? honestly I don't why, but it happened...) the only beauty oil that I used and gave a good a recommendation is a Josie Maran Argan Oil but my problem with Argan oil is more thicker, slightly yellow in color and not spreadable enough, and I don't like the smell either, I have hard time to applied it to my face so I always mixed it with my moisturizer to make it easily spread on my skin, which why they recommend us to press that into skin instead and lately I developed slightly stubborn acne around my chin that's why I stop it, honestly I can not really blamed Argan oil because I use different product as well so up to know I don't really know what product that made me break out and waited out until my skin got a bit better.
Before I start using Tsubaki my skin is heeling from break out and no acne what so ever so if any slightly change on my skin I would know, and the good thing about my skin it doesn't take long to act when the problem arise, if the product is not right for me my skin will let me know right away I will get rashes, acne or itches all over my face and thank God my skin is doing good so far and what I love about Tsubaki oil is just thin, it's considerably lighter in texture, spreads easily to apply sparingly all over my face leave my skin feeling moisturize and overall rejuvenated without leaving a greasy feeling. It has very light flowery scent almost like Lavender and clear in color, I've been using it for a week now and so far I don't have any breakout yet and my skin look fresh and glowing.

I tend to avoid oil based products when I can, but this sounds really great!

Sounds great (:
ReplyDeleteGood to know that there wasn't any breakouts. I've the same problem with oils. I've oily skin already, and sometimes oils just make me greasier. Boscia is a good brand, and generally makes excellent products. Therefore, and especially after reading your review, I'm open to trying this.

This sounds like an amazing product. I know people that have problems with oily skin. I used to have super oily skin in my T zone. But after I started using coconut oil, it really balanced out my skin. So I really think think this product you've reviewed works. You fight oil with oil, and it helps to get rid of acne. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I just found your blog. I really like it :) I'm now following you on GFC, Bloglovin, and Lookbook.

I hate when products gives you breakouts, it can be really annoying but as you said the worst part is trying to find out due to which product it happened. I think this oil might be a good thing to try out, as maybe the skin clears out thanks to it.
