DIY Mother's Day Flowers Arrangement

5/9/13

This Mother's day, do you have a perfect gift for your Mother? honestly I'm still undicided but for sure I will give my Mom my DIY flowers bouquet, is less money to do it myself so I can use the extra money for her special gift.  Anyway, I found this beautiful rustic, barn, garden style flower basket and I thought this would be nice for  my Mother's day flowers arrangement, is a bit different than I usually arranged for her, so this one would be a something new for her.
I choose Red and Vandala Roses because you will never get wrong with roses, is elegant, sophisticated and glamour. And I added some of green leaves from my garden for sentimental touch.

HERE'S THE DIY!

What you need:
1. Flower knife or Prunning Shears
1/2  Flower foam
Basket by Debby Lilly or you can get it on VONS CLUB.
6 stems of Red Roses
6 stems of Vandala Roses

Soak the foam on the water and cut it to fit the basket and
put little bit water just about 1 inch from the bottom.

Clean the flowers and to make it easy for you, sort it according to the color or flowers.

1. Cut it and measured how tall you want your arrangement to stand ( I suggest not to tall, just enough for the flowers to fit all together on the basket, the tallest it is the more flowers you need).
2. Make a 5 points marks, one in the middle and the four others put in every corner as you wish to  mark the shape of your arrangement. And starting from then fill it up with the rest of the flowers.
3. Put the leaves on the outer side of the flowers and fill it out the empty spot between flowers.

total cost $15

like I alwasy said, "Practise would make it easier"
ENJOY!!!
And
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY FOR ALL THE MOTHER OUT THERE!
XOXO
