One of the most essential beauty regimen
Is washing our face, and soap is vital to maintaining our skin to stay clean, healthy and fresh. Although as important as soap on our skincare routine, as you know there are many kinds of soap are being produced and advertising. Most of us don't really understand what cleanser that works best for our skin type and sometimes we can get lost with so many wide varieties products to chose from.

I have a fantastic Dermatologist and he explained to me how important to understand our skin type and use the right soup that works best for our skin. Let's learn the basic kind of soap:

1. Gel Wash
This type of soap works better for OILY SKIN.  Look for a cleanser that has salicylic acid, remember oily skin does not mean moisturized skin. People with oily or acne prone skin tried hard to remove the access oil on their skin by over cleanses or using a harsh chemical product making their skin more vulnerable which can cause the skin to overcompensate to the dryness by producing more oil.  So here the solution, try to moisturize your skin just right by using a gently chemical that won't hurt your skin.

Try this product:
PETER THOMAS ROTH Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Cleansing Gel / Ren Clarimatte T-Zone Control Cleansing Gel / Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel

2. Facial Scrub
Best for ALL SKIN TYPE, It exfoliating particles slough away dirt, blackheads, and flakiness from your skin also help in a cleansing skin and eliminate impurities. Look for natural exfoliants, like oatmeal and sugar, or ones that dissolve, and also like Jojoba easter. Although some products say that you can use it every day. But, for some sensitive skin, this could lead to more problem such breaking out, and you can remove the protective barrier that skin has so it is best only to do it two or three times a week.

Olay skin smoothing Cream Scrub / Clinique 7 Days Scrub Cream / NIVEA Pure Effect Total Face Cleanup

3. Foam Wash
Is best for ALL SKIN TYPE, has rich lather that gently cleanses and refreshes skin without irritating. Although this Foam Wash is not as strong as another kind of soap and not the best type for removing waterproof makeup is only because it contains more water and less chemical in it.

Try this product:
SIMPLE Foaming Cleanser / Bath and Body Works Nutriganics Foaming Facial Wash / AVEENO Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser.

4. Cream Cleanser
This type of cleanser is best for NORMAL TO DRY SKIN type. Riches formula that has a high level of oil, butter or emollient and other oil product that aim to moisturize your face while it's clean so cream cleanser won't over dry your skin. For Dry skin look for a product that contains Stearic acid ( if you have normal skin type stay out of this ingredients because it could be irritated or over dry your skin) also look for these ingredients especially if you have dry skin coconut oil or flower oil can moisturize your skin really well.
DOVE DermaSeries Ultra Cream Face Cleanser / PHISODERM Daily Facial Cleanser / Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily skin

5. Cleansing Oil
Best for ALL SKIN TYPE, it cleans your skin without over-drying and moisturizes while gently lifts waterproof makeup while leaving skin soft, silky and looking dewy. The downside is Mineral oil based can easily clog pores if not clean thoroughly. Look for an ingredient like Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil and Olive Oil.
TATCHA Cleansing Oil / Clinique take the day off cleansing Oil / Boscia Cleansing Oil

6. Face Wipes
These for ALL SKIN TYPE. Is tough enough to take away excess oil, dirt, debris and waterproof makeup while leaving skin smooth and fresh. Very convenience you should take this everywhere you go, put in in your purse, bedside table so it easy to clean your face when you need it. But it shouldn't be your primary cleanser since the surface won't cleanse pores, it will leave your pores to clog if you use this as your only face cleaner. Look for fragrance and alcohol-free.
My favorite one is from Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Cleansing-Brightening.

7. Micellar Cleansing Water
What is Micellar water? This is cleaning skincare that just becomes popular recently and works best on sensitive skin and this can works for any skin type also. The formula is made of micelles which are tiny round balls of oil molecules float on the water. Micellar water is a skincare product that cleanses your skin without the need for rinsing. One of most convenience facial cleanser which is easy for you to bring it everywhere with you especially to the place that hard to find water and is strong enough to remove oil, dirt, and waterproof makeup without drying your skin. Unlike a micellar toner, water does not contain Alcohol so is gentle enough for sensitive skin and to clean around the eyes area. And the best part, you can use this as your primary skin cleaner product.
How to use it: soak a cotton ball with this product and sweep it across your whole face, and leave it dry. No rinse need it.
BIODERMA Micellar Cleaning Water / Simple Cleaning Micellar Water / La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Micellar Water

  4. These are some great choices. I am really looking forward to using La Roche-posay Effaclar Purifying Micellar Water as it is meant to be a great one!

I use Origins GinZing refreshing scrub cleanser and Lush Ocean Salt for three out of seven days as using it every day can be very harsh on my skin. If I had to pick a favourite every day product it would most likely be Origins Checks and Balances it makes my skin feel so soft after use!

    Great post :)
